Reviews Easily their best yet.. Their whirlwind of brutality is delivered with a pleasing subtle, dexterous touch... Recorded at Philia Studios with some lovely dry, confident tones... Desecration are obviously very much on top of their game... 8.5/10 - Terrorizer -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7/10 - Metal Hammer -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Could knock a train off its tracks from a mile away.. Filled with furious blastbeats and riffs that grind like a hooker on ecstasy.. Brilliantly filthy and more than a little twisted, this may be the album of their career.. 4/5 - Kerrang!! |
CSK155 - Casket Music (Album) |
Hand - Deadroom Journal Engineered, Produced and Mastered |
Reviews Progressive, metal, gothic and classical influences. It's a notch heavier than most prog-metal rivals, though bassist/pianist Kat Ward's ethereal voice counterbalances nicely. 7/10 - Metal Hammer -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Breaking the mould of the genre, this is actually one absolute gem of an album Dead Earnest Magazine (Scotland) |
COP049 - Copro Records (Album) |
ISOR - The Zebra Theory Engineered, Produced and Mastered |
Reviews Immensely heavy and strangely involving... ...This strange band known for their bizarre song titles rip out shapeshifting, girder-heavy riffs, bending their rage around the most unpredictable of structures, always changing, never standing still. Kerrang! Magazine -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There's a massive density of guitars and they've also got the drums sounding superbly produced, so that the sound made by this molten metal duo is dense, intense, heavy, powerful strong and dramatic... ...the guitar production is irresistible, the drums solid and resonant...Fantastic stuff, for sure. Dead Earnest Magazine (Scotland) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pure head banging heaven... Pure Metal Magazine (Poland) |

CSK132 - Casket (Album) |
QuarterBlind - Bleeding The Guilty Engineered, Produced and Mastered |
Reviews ‘A turbulent mix of shredding guitar, unbridled fury, throaty ‘woooargghh’ vocals and machine-gun drumming elevated above many like-sounding bands by astute use of dynamics, melody and structurechanges’ Kerrang -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'This is not an album for the faint at heart (unless a jolt is what you're looking for) or emotionally faltering, and beware: for they music displayed is highly addictive! I found myself listening to the album 5 times in a row following the initial listening session before waking up from the daze and realizing I'd "lost" half a day without even taking notes. In the end count, Bleeding The Guilty is a great album worthy to be displayed in that "Best Albums Of 2007"-list of mine!' 98/100 - Concrete Web -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7/10 - Rock Sound |
CSK128 - Casket Music (Album) |
Zenithal - Vendetta Engineered, Produced and Mastered |
Reviews Metal Hammer 7/10 |
CSK112 - Casket Music (Album) |
Sevenyearsdead - To The Ruin of All Engineered, Produced and Mastered |
Reviews '...metal played as it was always meant to be...the music is all about gigantic riffs and roaring hooks….somewhere between the simple thrills of prime Skid Row and the more corrosive attitude-laden abuse of Slipknot or Machine Head...' KKKK, Kerrang! Magazine -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UK metallers square up to the Americans With influences ranging from Slipknot to Unearth, Manchester's sevenyearsdead don't pull any punches when it comes to being commercially viable. That they succeed where others fail is thanks to the strong songwriting and clear production on 'To The Ruin of All' - the band's debut release. Initially the overriding influence seems to be American tech-metallers Nevermore, but it's on further listens that the subtle nuances and influences come to the fore, whether through the Machine Head-meets-Pantera-styled brutality of 'Juggernaut' to the Alice in Chains-influenced 'Chosen'. Sevenyearsdead have proved that they have both the songs and delivery to stand against any American act, and this is a strong beginning for a promising band. 7/10, Metal Hammer -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- '…amazing debut from a band who knows that they've truly got it right… powerhouse drumming, thunderous bass, the most wondrous crushing metal and thickly dripping guitar riffing… choruses to die for, harmony vocals that shatter your emotions… destined to storm the rock dance-floors and discos of this land like a plague… this is an outstanding debut …' Dead Earnest -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- '…massively enjoyable…this is metal, confident, without pretension and deftly handled - this is power metal, solid, heavy and all encompassing…shit, this is war metal…' Mark Cooper, Glasswerk -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- '…Constantly catchy, tempting harmonies and driving riffs from one of the finest groove metal bands on the scene today. This is one of the finest album's to grace any collection…' 4.5/5, Deathdoom Productions -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- '…a sea of riffs and impressive melodic vocals, 'To the ruin of all' is an adrenaline filled album that not only satisfies a current thirst for quality British metal, but could also help push sevenyearsdead into one hell of a future…' 7.5/10, The Rock Matrix -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- '…the album displays modern metal with crushing and groovy riffs, emotive harmonies and a great lead singer...' 89/100, Concrete Web |
CSK120 - Casket Music (EP) |
This Dying Hour - Longest Memory From The Shortest Life Engineered, Produced and Mastered |
Reviews 'When a posse of talented and diverse young men muck together to produce an EP as Solid and musically orgasmic as these folks have, most other up and coming acts don't have a cat in hell's chance of breaking through to the masses. Granted, some may claim boasting three guitarists is just showing off, but when that trio unite to create a bone-crunching force of a sound, the bonfire is well and truely pissed on. The melodic vocals are sung with passion and an apt ability, and the sheer range in style is fitting and impressive. Bursting at the seams with surprises and brilliance, this debut is nothing short of a sensation.' 8/10 Rocks Sound Magazine -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Powerhouse metal with a penchanchant for Lamb of God flavoured riffs." Top 20 Tracks To Download: No.7 Wycombe. Total Guitar Magazine -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- '...an impressive range of sounds and textures on display, and they're actually balancing and working together within the context of the songs as opposed to being jammed together like mismatched musical sardines. Metronomic double kick drums underpin thrashy muted chord work and subtle fingertapping passages; shouts and screams that wouldn't be out of place in hardcore (especially when combined with the brutal grooves of the bottom end) are played off against clean sung vocals from a distinctive voice; delicate little intros and incidental parts; riffs and clichés from the last few decades of metal re-engineered and reclaimed, made new again. There's even some piano in there, believe it or not.' Subba Cultcha |

They've sure got some groove, as well as bags of ability' Rock Sound Magazine -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'One of the most promising debuts for a band in recent years. It’s like they took the last 20 years in heavy music and produced a ‘best of’ soundtrack' Glasswerk -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- '...well-written and executed modern Metal full of killer riffs, but never forget to include melody and catchieness.' 95/100 - Concrete Web -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- '...thrash metal is back with vengeance, ready to smash heads in with the power of the chugga-chugga riff and blinding speed and precision...' 4/5 - Mass Movement -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'Production is pretty good too, nicely balanced so everyone gets a bit of space in the mix, clean and suiting the style of music.' 9 out of 13 - Room Thirteen |

Reviews 'I think the production speaks for itself! excellent...' 4/5 - Cop-Out -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'The production is pretty solid, especially the bass which comes through very nicely. The guitar also has a nice chunky sound to it. If you're a Bay Area freak like me then this will be just the tonic for you. I found it quite delicious.' Deadtide -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'Hitting fast and hitting hard, Enemy Unknown are musically flawless...Pure thrash metal for the most dedicated thrash heads.
