A young inexperienced British police officer was given the task of faxing a nearby station with an important & urgent document by his sergeant.
The sergeant was slightly concerned that the young police officer was not back from this simple task after 20min’s and was about to check on him when his phone rang.
His extremely agitated colleague from the nearby station explained, “They had received over 100 copies of the same document” and “They were rapidly running out of fax paper”.
When the Sergeant went to check on the young officer, he was somewhat surprised to find him still standing before the fax machine, dialling the nearby station.
Upon questioning, the young officer offered the following as an explanation, “I think the fax machine must be broken, because every time I send the document it just pops back out here again”
The most frightening part about this is… it is all completely true…
